適應症 (Indications)

磨皮術 (dermabrasion) 已被列為多種病況的治療適應症 (Table 56-1)。對於疤痕 (scars)，理想的治療時機為受傷後 6 to 8 weeks，不過部分外科醫師偏好在更晚許多的時間進行磨皮術。對於較深的疤痕與專業刺青 (professional tattoos)，磨皮術可作為雷射治療 (laser treatment) 的輔助手段，惟以此方式使用時較易發生疤痕形成。
