強脈衝光 (Intense Pulsed Light)
- 強脈衝光 (intense pulsed light, IPL) 裝置產生強烈、多色 (polychromatic) 且非同調 (noncoherent) 的光。
- 治療痤瘡的機轉：藍光與紅光波段對紫質 (porphyrins) 與發炎細胞的光化學 (photochemical) 效應、紅外光波段的光熱 (photothermal) 效應，並加熱皮脂腺 (sebaceous glands)。
- 一項半臉對照臨床試驗中，IPL 相較於不治療可減少發炎性與非發炎性病灶。
- 另一研究報告六個月後清除率 (clearance rates) 高達 72%。
- 整體而言，IPL 可能優於藍光與紅光，但療效可能不及染料雷射 (PDL)。
- 將 PDL、IPL 與 LED 用於中至重度痤瘡比較時，結果偏好 IPL，其以較快速度達到 90% 的發炎性病灶清除。
