Many facelift patients undergo additional procedures, such as browlift, blepharoplasty, facial implants, or skin resurfacing. An uncomplicated facelift in the hands of an expert may be performed in 2 hours. Adding simultaneous procedures can double the surgical time, and novice surgeons should begin with facelift only. If other procedures are to be
performed, they can be staged to the desire of the surgeon. I classically perform brow and eyelid surgery first, followed by the lift, cheek implants, and laser resurfacing.
