PREOPERATIVE EVALUATION
Prior to the procedure, a careful review of the patientโs medical file, including personal and family medical history, current medical treatments, previous phlebo-surgical and sclerosing treatments and outcomes, allergies, and contraindications should be made. Review of complete and recent duplex ultrasound scanning of both limbs, including superficial, deep, and perforating veins, and the patientโs signed informed consent forms should also be made.
