CD10

CD10

CD10, also known as the common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA), is a cell-surface glycoprotein found on hematopoietic progenitor cells and nonhematopoietic cells.16 Strong and diffuse staining of atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX), including perifollicular extension, has been demonstrated with CD10.16,29 However, spindle-cell SCCs can also stain strongly for CD10. These tumors can be differentiated with additional immunostains, as SCC should be positive for cytokeratins and p63.16
